Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was conceived on August 19th 1965. She is an American actor and producer. Her most well-known role is that of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded two Emmy Awards in the years 2010 and 2007 for her portrayal Johnson. The series ended on August 13th, 2012 after the conclusion of its seventh season. Sedgwick's recurring role of Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also notable. Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's roles in other films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's The Ones (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick is the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald, an educator therapy for families, a venture capitalist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech Therapist. Her mother was Jewish, and her father was Episcopalian. Sedgwick was of English heritage. Sedgwick declares herself Jewish and has claimed that she attends at Passover seders.
